There are 1.5 million children disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Britain, and the work of Action for Children is vital in making them safer and more secure.
In June 2016, AfC went to Glastonbury Festival with the aim of inspiring festival-goers to lend their support to the cause. And, through Neon Creative, they commissioned us to produce an animation for their campaign; to bring it to life in a way that would resonate with the crowds, on the big screens at the festival.
Dana Robertson, creative director and founder of Neon, says: "We wanted to work with an animation partner who could inject emotion, energy and life, but importantly also bring a bit of their own magic to the concept as well — and magic is what Scriberia have in bucket loads.
"The final animation is sensitively handled, emotive and indeed magical – which will help Action for Children give the magic of childhood to hundreds of disadvantaged kids across the UK.
"So Scriberia’s good work will do good — it doesn’t get any better than that.”
Plenty of others agreed with that sentiment too. The campaign picked up no less than three awards at the 2017 Drum Design Awards; the Chairman's Award as well as the Brand Campaign and Moving Image categories. It was also shortlisted for a Brand Impact Award.
